Spanish Water Dog Rescue is organised and run by four people with extensive knowledge and understanding of the Spanish water dog as a breed. They are funded entirely through voluntary donations and hold various events and activities to promote their organisation and the breed.

Our main service is an animal fostering scheme Animal Safe Haven supporting victims of domestic abuse to access refuge knowing their pets are safe and once they have rebuilt their lives and are in their own home they are reunited.

Many Tears Animal Rescue (MTAR) is a unique rescue in that the majority of our dogs are ex-breeders and many have never seen the outside world before. The rescue is based in Carmarthenshire, Wales but has dogs in foster homes throughout the UK. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, micro chipped, inoculated and wormed and we re-home approximately 3,000 dogs a year.
